Each legislative session, the Utah Tourism Industry Association tracks hundreds of bills that impact the tourism industry in Utah. You can see a full list of UTIA's legislative positions by clicking on the bill tracker button below. UTIA generally tracks many bills, however, we only prioritize key legislation to our industry. Our prioritization key is as follows:
HPS - high profile support: actively engaged (bright green)
LPS - low profile support (light green)
M - Monitor: neutral position (grey)
LPO - low profile oppose (light red)
HPO - high profile oppose: actively engaged (dark red)
Dive deeper as a member
During the legislative session, we support our membership legislative engagement with a weekly legislative brief. This brief will provide a high-level narrative of key issues and their impact on the visitor economy, however, provides a deeper dive than the bill tracker. These weekly updates are a resource reserved for our active membership.
